Frequently asked questions
Answers to your questions
From registering and appointments to rates, reimbursement and emergencies. Cannot find your question? Feel free to contact us.
New patients
Can I register as a new patient?
Yes, Omnia Dental welcomes new patients. You can register through the contact form or by phone. At your first appointment we calmly review your teeth, your wishes and your medical history.
Treatments
Will I be referred elsewhere for specialist treatments?
In most cases, no. Because we perform treatments such as root canal therapy, crowns, implants and wisdom tooth removal in-house, your care stays in one place with a dentist who knows you.
Appointments
How do I make an appointment?
You can request an appointment through the contact form on this website, via WhatsApp or by phone. We then contact you to plan a time that suits you.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring valid identification and your health insurance details. If you are registered with another dentist, it helps to have your records or recent X-rays transferred.
Rates
What does a dental treatment cost?
Dental rates in the Netherlands are set nationally by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa). Every practice uses the same maximum tariffs per code. Our rates page lists the most common codes with prices, and for larger treatments you receive an estimate in advance.
Is dental care reimbursed?
For adults, most care is reimbursed through supplementary dental insurance. Dental care for children up to 18 is largely covered by the basic insurance. Check your policy for exact coverage.
Emergency
I have acute toothache, can I be seen quickly?
For complaints such as severe pain, a broken tooth or swelling we aim to help you the same day. Call us as early in the day as possible so we can reserve room for emergencies. Our emergency page explains exactly what to do.
Comfort
I am afraid of the dentist, can you take that into account?
Absolutely. We schedule extra time, explain every step beforehand and work with clear stop signals. You stay in control throughout. Many patients who stayed away for years feel at ease here again.
Practice
Which languages can I be helped in?
You are welcome in Dutch and English. Let us know if you feel more comfortable in a particular language and we will take that into account.
Is there parking at the practice?
The practice on Manenburgdreef in Hoofddorp is easy to reach by car and public transport, with parking nearby. Plan your route via the map on our contact page.
